He was predeceased by: his mother Martha E. Stott-Hazelwood; his stepfather George A. Hazelwood; and his siblings, James Stott and Gloria Floyd. He is survived by: his father Charles Black; his daughters, Khalaya Stott and Shana Wilson; and his grandchildren, Amoura Smith and Makhiya Perry. He is also survived by his siblings; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
