He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Pinkston and Mason Pinkston; and his brothers, Kenneth Pinkston and Morris Pinkston. He is survived by: his wife Mary Carolyn; his daughters, Lynn O'Bryan (Glenn) of Edwardsville and Pamela Straight of Henderson, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Jacob O'Bryan (Lizzie), Sarah Dorman (Adam), Taylor O'Bryan (Rachelle), Anne Barning (Glenn) and Jim Britt; his great grandchildren, Lydia Krietemeyer, Mary Sanders, Peyton O'Bryan, Parker O'Bryan and Paige O'Bryan; his siblings, Elbert Pinkston (Betty), Bob Pinkston (Linda), Bill Pinkston (Donna) and Mary Wilson (Larry); his sisters-in-law, Belinda Moss Farmer (Ray) and Nettie Pinkston Gordon; and his close friends, Barbara Morgan and Betty Hancock. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
