She was predeceased by: her father Ray; her husband Raymond John Gastenveld, Jr.; her grandson Jack Hutson Payne; and her siblings, Isabel Johnston, Mariam Smith, Jim Speaks and Sammy Speaks.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Denton Owen (Bruce), Paula Gastenveld, Katie Leve Stanley (Randal), Jack Gastenveld (Judy), Susan Calabrese (Greg), Ed Gastenveld (Susie) and Marilyn Dorsey (Philip); her brother Robert "Bob" Speaks; and her grandsons, Deano Leve, Mason Gastenveld, Nation Dorsey, Brock Dorsey, Ward Brown and Josh Boyd. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home (604 Center St, Henderson, KY 42420). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Jesus Catholic Church (511 2nd St, Henderson, KY 42420).
