He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Nelson and Carolyn Nelson; his daughter Jessica Teague; his siblings, Jonathan Nelson and Lisa Nelson; and his grandparents, Welzie, Thelma Coker, Marshall and Theresa Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Nelson of Henderson, KY; his children, Alysa Nelson of Henderson, KY and Zachary Nelson of Henderson, KY; his grandchildren, Braxton, Brooklyn and Chloe; his siblings, Beth Nelson of Henderson, KY and William Nelson (Abby) of Henderson, KY; and his grandmother Sandra Coker of Uniontown, KY.
