He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Solomon and Mary Emma Solomon; his grandson Jason Solomon; and his wife Rachel Solomon. He is survived by: his brother Ray M. Solomon of Bowling Green, Kentucky; his children, David L. Solomon (Jacqueline) of Henderson, John L. Solomon (Susan) of Franklin and Ann S. Hodge (Thomas) of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Jessica S. Thomas (Joseph), Thomas S. Hodge, Rachel H. Monjaraz (Aaron) and Joseph A. Hodge (Samantha); and his great grandchildren, Sydney R. Turley, Mason Ranes, Jase Ranes, Will Thomas and James Monjaraz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home (604 Center St, Henderson, KY 42420). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
