He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Ward and Sarah A. Ward (Harpole); and his brother Mike Ward. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ward; his son James T. "Thad" Ward (Marla) of Morgantown, KY; his sister Judy A. Kinney of Boonville, IN; and his granddaughters, Megan Ward and Paige Ward. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
