He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis Marshall and Mary Marshall; his former wife Kaye; and his son Kevin. He is survived by: his brother Steve; his sister-in-law Judy; his son Kenneth; his daughter-in-law Carin; his wife Doris Scott (Marshall); his siblings-in-law, Larry Williams, Jeannie and Larry Turley; his son Scott; and his daughter-in-law Gian Miller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
