He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jess Brooks and Ann Brooks; his daughter Shannon Brooks Hartz (Brent); his grandchildren, Brooks Hartz and Ashley Hartz; and his sisters, Ann Mudge of Louisville, KY and Nancy Blake of Hopkinsville, KY.. He was also cherished by two nieces and one nephew.
