He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert S. Edwards and Mary Barbara Edwards (Hollifield); and his siblings, Agnes Stewart, James "Jimmy" Edwards, John H. Edwards and Ray Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Vyrdena Edwards; his siblings-in-law, Ronald Tomlingson (Anna), Michael Tomlingson (Alicia) and Pam Phillips (Tim); and his nieces, Cindy Sauer and Susie Martin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
