It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary W. Johnson of Henderson, Kentucky, born in Dale, Illinois, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Johnson and LaVerne Webb; and his son Gary Glenn Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Johnson; his daughters, Lori Hesley (Jeff) of Sturgis and Tonya Beals (Mark) of Henderson, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Mark Hesley (Brittany) of Henderson, Michael Hesley (Jackie) of Sturgis, Brandon Beals and Bethany Francis (Nathan) of Henderson, Kentucky; his great grandchildren, Cole, Bella, Owen, Thomas, Nora Hesley and Hannah Francis; his siblings, Lary Johnson of Elizabethtown, Illinois and Kitty Christensen of Phoenix, Arizona; and his mother-in-law Jessie Hunley of Morganfield, Kentucky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
