He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Head and Cecil Felker Head; his wife Mary "P. C." Markwell Head; and his siblings, Mary Ayers, Jerry Head, Kenneth Head, Gene Head and Elmo Head.
He is survived by: his children, Amy D. Greenwell of Henderson, Chris Head (Rachael) of Lexington and Margaux Head of Henderson, Kentucky; his siblings, Donna Smith of Georgia, Alger Prow of Clay, Kentucky and Randy Head of Henderson, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Will Stone, Ivy Greenwell, Veronica Head and Johnny Head; and his friend Debbie Summers of Dixon, Kentucky.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
