She was predeceased by: her parents, Sharp Elam and Hilda Elam; her husband Bud Hermes; and her siblings, Bessie Shelly, Virginia Elam and Bill Elam.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jovonna Hermes of Henderson, Sonya Mauzey (Chuck) of Henderson, Jackie Gass (Jimmy Dale) of Onton, Kelly Meisinger (Bob) of Cincinnati and Stacey Pruden (Clint) of Sebree, Kentucky; her sisters, Bobbie Schultz of Grants Pass and Sue Estes of Henderson, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Jacob Mauzey (Kandace), Haley Hudson (Matt), Jordan Gass, Jodi Hedrick (Tyler), Amelia Stewart (Austin), Keats Pruden, Josh Gass (Kim) and Kirsten Johnson (T. J.); and her great grandchildren, Isabella Hedrick, Adler Hedrick, Cleo Hudson and Serenity Johnson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home (604 Center St, Henderson, KY 42420). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Jesus Catholic Church (511 2nd St, Henderson, KY 42420).
