It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Hillyard (Henderson, Kentucky), who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Bingemer and Beatrice Bingemer; and her siblings, Delories Mullens, Linda Bingemer, Charles Bingemer, Garland Bingemer and Kenneth Bingemer.
She is survived by: her husband Budie Hillyard of Cairo; her children, Gary Lloyd Hillyard (Joy) of Little Dixie, Debbie Goldsberry (late Johnny Goldsberry) of Robards, Dorrel Wayne Hillyard (Shellie) of Little Dixie and Phillip Ray Hillyard (Shantay) of Cairo; and her sister Alice Eblen of Jackson, TN. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cairo Methodist Church (13510 US-41 ALT, Henderson, KY 42420). A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
