He was predeceased by: his parents, William Crafton Barnes and Dorothy Annette Fruit Barnes; his sister Kathy Barnes Hillock (Steve); his former spouse Jerry Nunley Barnes; his sons, Danny Neil Barnes (Steve) and Kirk Allen Barnes (Angie); and his spouse Jean Clay.
He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Barnes (Jean), Gary Barnes (Pat) and Sue Gayle Barnes Parrish (Jack); his granddaughters, Whitney Barnes Talley (Aaron) and Ariel Barnes Almand (Brad); his great grandchildren, Zoe Littrell, Rian Talley, Luke Talley, Beau Talley, Mason Almand and Max Almand; and his close friend Nell Stone.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home (604 Center St, Henderson, KY 42420). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
