He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sutton and Betty Sutton; and his sisters, Betty Mitchell and Tonya Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Debra Sutton of Henderson, KY; his daughter Misty Matteson of Henderson, KY; his siblings, Yolanda Morris of Henderson, KY, Lawanna West of Henderson, KY and George Sutton, Jr. of Henderson, KY; his grandchildren, Cassie Pitsonbarger and Kendall Pearson; and his great grandchildren, Ally, Mia, Duane, Mario and Malaya.
