With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chester W. Byrd of Henderson, Kentucky, born in Corydon, Kentucky, who passed away on November 22, 2023 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Chester W. Byrd to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Stanley and Mabel Hancock Byrd; his daughter Stacie Byrd Brown; and his siblings, Stanley Earl Byrd and Joretta Randell.
He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Byrd; his son Christopher W. Byrd of Henderson, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Cameron W. Brown (Tasha) of Henderson, Whitney Wilson (Justin) of Henderson and Cody W. Byrd of Glasgow, Kentucky; his great grandchild Evelyn Rose Wilson; and his brother-in-law Walter Beck. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
