He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannette; and his parents, Thelma Banken and Therman Banken. He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Wathen, Theresa Steele and Tracy Herron; his grandchildren, Rebecca Skaggs, Joseph Wathen, Andrew McElfresh and Megan McElfresh; his great grandchildren, Devin Skaggs, Anna Skaggs, Tucker Skaggs, Genevieve Caballero, Guy McElfresh and Bridget McElfresh; and his sister Thelma Wilkins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
