He was predeceased by: his sons, Howard Stephen Dixon and Charles Bryan Dixon; his grandsons, Jacob Dixon, Kristopher Kirtley and Marvin Trent; and his son-in-law Dr. Mike Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Rena Mae Dixon (Hoskins); his children, Carolyn Turner (Wes) of Henderson, Barbara Walker of Henderson, Pam Westerman (Wes) of Henderson and Quince Kirtley (Marie) of Corydon; his daughters-in-law, Janice Dixon of Henderson and Kathy Dixon of Henderson; and his grandchildren, Heather Knight (Jason), Jeremy Littrell (Laci), Audrey Walker, Dr. Matt Walker, Kimberly Sowle, Katie Tomas, Brandi Lopez, Steven Vanover, Justin Westerman, Josh Dixon, Abbi Roedel and Ashton Hanley. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
