She is survived by: her children, Samuel Black, Danny DeJarnett Jr. of Henderson, Curtis Black of Evansville, IN, Barry DeJarnett of Atlanta Georgia, Quincy DeJarrnett of Lakeland, FL and Carol Denise DeJarnett of Henderson; her uncle James Ollie Agnew of Indianapolis, IN; her aunt Lucille Whitlock (Wanda Black-Soaper) of Evansville, IN.; her sisters, Shirley Crenshaw of Evansville, Patricia Harris of Indianapolis, Barbarbra DeJarnett of Evansville, Phyllis Harris (James) of Henderson, Barbara Johnson (Donald Ray) of Henderson and Gail Turner (John) of Henderson; her cousin Teretha Day of Los Angeles, CA.; her brothers, James Hazelwood (Crystal) of Henderson, Jerry Hazelwood Sr. (Wanda) of Evansville, IN, Robert Hazelwood of Evansville, IN, Roger Hazelwood (Russette) of Clarksville, TN, Kenneth Hazelwood (Lorie) of Savannah, GA, Lawrence Black of Indianapolis, IN and Tony Black of Madisonville, KY; her cousin Tyrone Young Sr. (Gloria) of Henderson, KY.; and her grandchildren, Ambrose Floyd, Kurtis Vanhorn, Brittany Dejarnett, Davion DeJarnett, Darius DeJarnett, Kiara Clark and Phaedra.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Little Canaan Missionary Baptist Church (406 S Alvasia St, Henderson, KY 42420). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
