She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. John Strother and Emma Strother; her husband William "Bill" Oakley; and her stepdaughter Amy Badham. She is survived by: her son Matthew Wayne Dossett (Stephanie); her brother John Strother (Alma); and her stepson Bill Oakley. She is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
