He was predeceased by: his parents, Dixon Bradley Purdy, Jr. and Enda Mullins Purdy; and his brother Gabe Purdy. He is survived by: his wife Jenny Franklin Purdy of Henderson, KY; his daughters, DeeAnna Hawkins (Richard) of West Chester, OH, Jessica Moore (Jon) of Newburg, IN and Jade Purdy (Michael Lancaster) of Newburg, IN; his brother Dan Purdy (Debbie) of Dawson Springs, KY; his grandchildren, Paige Wagers (Luke), Brad Hawkins, Sydney Moore and Everly Lancaster; and his great grandchildren, Lydia, Luke, Levi and Leah Wagers.
