It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Ray Gilmore of Henderson, Kentucky, who passed away on March 5, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Gilmore and Lillian Gilmore; his wife Bettye Ann Gilmore; his sisters, Mary Walker, Catherine Lucille Phillips and Emma Dean Gilmore; and his niece Phyllis Cavanaugh.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Susie Watkins; his nephews, Jonathan Phillips and Elbridge Christison; and his stepgrandchildren, Matthew Watkins and Christian Watkins. He is also survived by 2 step-great-granddaughters and a step-great-grandson.
