We bid farewell to Bill Shields of Henderson, Kentucky, born in Sturgis, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 16, 2024 at the age of 93. Bill touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fendell Shields and Beulah Williams Shields; his former wife Lilla "Sis" Pardue Shields; and his siblings, Kay Williams, Magaret Banull, Joy Hogue, Virginia Bean, Louis Shields and Wilburn Shields.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Shields of Owensboro, Kentucky; his children, Karen Shields Liles (Tony) of Henderson, Michael Shields of Henderson and Stanley Shields (Karen Wilson Shields) of Henderson; his brother Dr. Jerry Allen Shields (Carol) of Byrn Mawr, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Meredith Havlin (Kevin), Margaret Adams (Greg), Madeline Liles (Laci Grisham-Liles), Hunter Shields and Christopher Shields; and his great grandchildren, Everett Havlin, Norah Havlin, Lena Adams, Zelie Adams, Dominic Adams and Levi Adams. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
