She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Dixon and Mildred Suggs Dixon; her husband Samuel Bridges; her siblings, Kenneth Dixon and Barbara Brooks; and her grandsons, Wilbert Farris, Deveonte'Gaines and Dijon Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Farris Jr. (Lori), Rodney Bridges (Sharon), Darla Farris, Cindy Gaines, Juna Frazier and Kimberly Bridges; and her sisters, Tommie Cole of Henderson and Sue Fletcher of Corydon. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews, and friends.
