With solemn reverence, we commemorate Bertha Nicholson of Henderson, Kentucky, whose life came to an end on January 6, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lilburn Melton and Carolyn Mae Moore Elmeier; her former husband Robert Donnetta; her husband Charles William Nicholson; her son Robert Lilburn Donnetta; and her brothers, William Albert Melton and Fred Ellis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Anna Gibbs of Henderson, Kentucky and Rita Clement (Kenneth) of Henderson, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Sam Donnetta, Chuck Donnetta (Wendy), Justin Cornelius (Jessica), Amy Robison, Christina Stinson and Sarah Jacobi (Jonathan). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home (604 Center St, Henderson, KY 42420). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
