It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Atherton of Henderson, Kentucky, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Lappie and Hazel Lappie; her brother Joe Lappie; and her children, Ronnie Atherton and Elaine Dennis.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Ann Frisby of Henderson, KY and Paul Atherton of Henderson, KY; her brother Thomas Lappie (Rhonda) of Pekin, IL; and her grandchildren, Suzanna Rodriguez, Brenda Mattingly, Laura Edelen, Bobbie Jo Atherton, Bill Frisby, Stormy Atherton and Dawn Atherton. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
