It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Austin Ray Priest of Henderson, Kentucky, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Norris and Violet Priest (Littlepage); and his sister Rita Cottingham. He is survived by: his wife Judy Priest; his children, Jama Bennett (Rick) of Vine Grove, KY and Kip Priest (Christy) of Henderson; his siblings, Norris Priest of Henderson and Sunga Kenyon of Decatur, AL; his grandchildren, Taylor Bennett of Elizabethtown, Brooks Bennett of Madisonville, Kaci Large of Henderson and Craig Priest of Henderson; and his great grandchild Rhett Allen Large. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Shriner's of Henderson or Jerusalem Masonic Lodge #9.
