He was predeceased by: his parents, A. J. Gibson and Verbal Gibson; his siblings, Carlos Gibson of Chesley Gibson, J. B., Raymond "Pat" Gibson, Charles Gibson, Reva Gibson, Irene Jones and Mildred Bridwell; and his granddaughter Lindsey Henderson.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Gibson of Henderson, KY; his daughters, Audrey Benton (Jerry) of Henderson, KY and Kelly Fronabarger (Keith) of Kevil, KY; his stepsons, Jim Robards, Jr. (Carolyn) of Sylacauga, AL and Jeff Robards (Cindy) of Henderson, KY; and his grandson Bradley Henderson of Lexington, KY. He is also survived by 4 step-grandchildren, 8 step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
