With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mervial Newman of Heidrick, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Newman and Grace Hudson Newman; and his wife Maxine Miller. He is survived by: his children, Stevie Gail Riedman (Donald) of Bellbrook, OH and Frank K. Newman (Melissa) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Heather M. Peters (Evin), Brittani Wolanin (Alan) and Brooke Saylor (Stevan); his great grandchildren, Morgan, Dylan, Boston, Jordin Bookmiller, Brooklyn Peters, Everett, Asher Wolanin, Kambri and Case Saylor; his great great grandchild Kamden Dupee; and also, Brian and Sherry Bohl.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Knox Funeral Home (325 Knox St, Barbourville, KY 40906). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
