He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Tom and Nellie Brown Baker; his siblings, Melbalene Bruce, Cansetta Jo Parks, Lee, Doc and Charles Baker; and his grandchildren, Baby Wells and James Caleb Wells.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Geral; his wife Ethel Mae Baker of Heidrick; his daughter Tammy Jean Wells (Geral) of Woodbine; his grandson Jonathan Geral Wells of Woodbine; his brother Harold Baker (Rhonda) of Lily; and his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth June Wagers of Artemus and Carol Peach of Barbourville.
