He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Broughton; his grandson Derrick Broughton; and his brothers, Robert Broughton, William Broughton, Ben Broughton and Lowell Broughton.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Morrison (Larry), Douglas Broughton (Karen), Roger Broughton (Vickie) and Stephen Broughton (Kayla); his siblings, Helen Petrey (C. J.), Noah Broughton (Barbara) and Charles Broughton (Betty); his sister-in-law Carol; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Bliss (Jeff), Rachel Broughton, Brandon Williams (Michelle), Ryan Broughton (Alisha), Lauren Manley (Ethan) and Callan Broughton. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
