He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy"; his sons, Matt, Nathan and Tad (Sarah Streutker); his grandchildren, Bayleigh Joe, Ben Joe, Madison Joe, Pal Joe and Little Joe; his siblings-in-law, Ed Shafer (Barabara), Pat Shafer (Jill) and Georgie Chalk; his siblings, Vincent Chalk, Ralph Chalk, Mary Rose Brauch (Stan), Mercedes Silbersack (Clarence) and Miriam Chalk; and his grandson Samuel Edward Chalk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
