With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Lawrence Spalding of Hebron, Kentucky, who passed away on November 14, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Spalding of Washington and Mary Hilda Spalding (Mattingly); and his brother Bernard Spalding. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Sue Spalding; his daughters, Laura Graves Kiely (Chris), Holly Elizabeth Spalding, Heather Lee Spalding (Coleman Connolly) and Kara Rebecca Barnett (Scott); and his siblings, Pauline Hayden, Al Spalding, Regina Young, Mary Ann Thomas, Frankee Sutton, Florine Miles, George Wain Spalding and Norman Spalding. He is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Knights of Columbus or "Support a Farmer" with Heifer International.
