He is survived by: his mother Hazel Thomas; his children, James Thomas Jr. (Sue) and Angie Thomas; his siblings, Syl Thomas, Mildred Benson, Patricia Thomas, Lois Costello, Darlene Lancaster and Betty Graf; his grandchildren, Amber Thomas, James Thomas III, Brandon Thomas and Hunter Woodruff; and his great grandchildren, Azalae, Alayjah, Cory, McKynlee and Rhyatt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
