She was predeceased by: her husband Barney Massey; her son Larry Massey; and her granddaughter Jennifer Stokes. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Ann Scherff of Hebron; and her brother Alan Boler of Neshoba, Mississippi.. She is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
