It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erlene Barndt (Hebron, Kentucky), who passed away on October 25, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Homer Tate and Roland F. Barndt; and her siblings, Juna Wainscott and Mack Alvin McElfresh. She is survived by: her parent Bromley; her grandchildren, Morgan Spanier (Kevin), Shelby Mitchell (Jeff), Harrison Young, Stephanie Rentschler (Matthew), Jennifer Vocke, Robert Vocke (Alexandra), Ross Vocke (Maria), Samuel Vocke, Madison Hill (Toby), Keaton Holbrook, Corey Holbrook and Mallory Holbrook; her friend Kathleen Wagoner Drahman; her children, Brett Tate (Cathy), Lori and Gina Holbrook (Elliott); and her siblings, Kim Mullins (Mike), Sherri McElfresh, Lynda Anderson (Hugh), Marita Spencer (Doug), David McElfresh (Debbie), Danny McElfresh (Sandy), Roger McElfresh (Dee) and Tony McElfresh (Joyce). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
