With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin Arthur Schneider (Hebron, Kentucky), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on August 15, 2018 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Schneider; his children, Beverly Nagel (Mark) and Edwin Schneider Jr. (Kama); his grandchildren, Perry Schneider, Danny Nagel (Mary) and Tommy Nagel (Laura); his great grandchildren, Brandon Nagel, Ashley Nagel, Luke Nagel, Adam Nagel and Joey Nagel; his brother Denny Schneider (Mary); his brother-in-law Frank Sefton; and also Marion Sefton.

In lieu of flowers please make donations in Edwin's name to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 S. Loop Road, Edgewood, KY 41017, or Shriners Hospital, 3018 Burnet Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45229.

“Jimmy & I met Ed & Mary Ann while staying at the Holiday Inn in Florida. We were searching for a home. They were the first one’s to know our offer on a house was accepted. There were many hugs & congratulation wishes. Once we got back home to NJ, we kept in touch. Ed & Mary Ann were just the type of people you speak to once & feel like you’ve known them forever. Ed was always kidding around. He always prefaced a kidding comment with “now, you know I’m just kidding”. Each time they came down to Florida we made sure we got as many visits in as we could. Our time together was always filled with laughter, story telling & sometimes, just silly stuff. While we are so saddened by Ed’s passing, we feel so grateful & honored to have been Ed’s friend. We will forever remember Ed’s laugh & some of his favorite terms. “Bingo” & “you got it kid” will always bring a smile to our face, remembering our dear friend Ed.”
