Though Douglas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emerald Tungate and Virginia Tungate; his son Andy; his wife Carla; his sister Phyllis; his son Douglas Tungate Jr.; his grandchildren, Andrea Taylor and Monica Peelman; his half-sister Tracy; and his siblings-in-law, Mark and Kim. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
