He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester McNew and Ruby McNew (Coffey). He is survived by: his wife Donna McNew; his children, Paula McNew (Julie), Mary Cordell, Melissa Fulmer (Glen), Gary and Danny McNew (Melinda); and his siblings, Sherman McNew and Wanda Clemons (Ron).

Viewing will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (10759 Alexandria Pike, Alexandria, KY 41001). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Alexandria Cemetery (7 Spillman Dr, Alexandria, KY 41001).
