She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Paschall Miller Smotherman and Dewey Smotherman; her husband Robert Russell Cook (Bob); and her daughter Paula Cook Smith of Union City, TN. She is survived by: her daughter Regina Cook-Pfeiffer (Dave Pfeiffer) of Louisville, KY; her grandchildren, Christopher Pfeiffer of Louisville, KY, Michael Pfeiffer of Jeffersonville, IN and Tiffany Jones of Union City, TN; and her great grandchild Kaleb Byars of Paducah, KY..
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Westport Road Baptist Church (9705 Westport Rd, Louisville, KY 40241). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in memory of Jessie be made to Scarlet Hope, a Christian ministry that Regina has served with for many years.
