He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Marcus Dunn and Ona Hager Dunn; his wife Pauline Elam Dunn; his son Lonnie Ray Dunn; and his brothers, Bob Dunn, Sammie Dunn, Willie Jay Dunn, Virgil Dunn and Clyde Dunn.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Marcus Dunn of Mt. Sterling, Roy Marcus Dunn, Jr. of Hazel Green, Kentucky, Diana Sue Crase of Sandfield, Ona Mae Brown of Lexington and Marva Faye Hampton (Bernard Prater) of Grassy Creek, Kentucky; and his sisters, Mattie Parks of Hazel Green and Mary Frances Harrington of Kokomo, Indiana.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
