He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Hughes and Melda Spencer Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Anna Hughes of Gays Creek; his children, Walter Harold Hughes (Michelle) and Peggy Murphy (James); and his stepdaughter Candy Farler (Stanley).
