He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Katie Buchanan Deaton; his sons, Isaac Justice Deaton of Hazard, KY and Evan Wayne Deaton of Hazard, KY; his sister Tonya Combs of Big Creek, KY; his nephews, Austin Michael Combs and Timothy Dylan Combs; and his close friend David Berryman.
