With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rick Sturdivant (Hazard, Kentucky), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rick left this world on January 29, 2025 at the age of 67, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sturdivant and Anita Patrick Sturdivant; and his grandparents, Alonzo, Elzora Patrick and Lola Sturdivant.
He is survived by: his spouse Bobbe Sturdivant of Hazard, KY; his daughter Jessica Gibson (Heath); his siblings, Ron Sturdivant (Melesa), Robyn Sturdivant of New York and Virginia Sue Nadzam (Matt); and his grandsons, Beau Gibson and Ridge Gibson. He is also survived by aunts, uncles.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hazard First Baptist Church (560 Main St, Hazard, KY 41701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hazard First Baptist Church at 560 Main Street – Hazard, Kentucky 41701 or the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center at 101 Dennis Sandlin MD Cove – Hazard, Kentucky 41701.
