With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Phyllis Jane York of Hazard, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Phyllis left this world on November 16, 2024 at the age of 69, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wood and Pauline Wood (Nixon); and her siblings, Barbara Holifield and Robert "Buddy" Wood. She is survived by: her husband Larry York; her children, Tabitha York (Wilson), Daniel York and David York (Sonya); her sisters, Glenda Townsend (Ben) and Janice Banderman (Stan); her grandchildren, Tyler, Lara, Jacob, Avery, Phoebe, Penelope, Wilson Jr., Patrick and Emilianne; her great grandchildren, Zelda, Brantley, Elliott, Rhys and Doug; and her pet Missy. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral and Cremation Services (1100 Iron Bridge Rd, Poplar Bluff, MO 63901). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
