With solemn reverence, we commemorate Myrtle Jones of Hazard, Kentucky, whose life came to an end on December 16, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie "Bill" Craig and Mattie Lindville Craig (Shirley Craig); her husband William "Tom" Jones; and her brothers-in-law, Jack Jones and Truman Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmie Lynn Jones of Hazard, KY, Thomas Jones (Wesley Allen Jones) of Hazard, KY and Walter "Pete" Craig of Cumberland, KY; her sisters-in-law, Barbara Craig of Cumberland, KY, Nadine Craig of Waco, KY, Edith Jones and Carol Jones of Caywood, KY; and her grandchildren, Melissa Danielle Jones and Veralynn Shoemaker.
A reception was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the View Chapel (352 Roy Campbell Dr, Hazard, KY 41701).
To honor her late husband, William "Tom" Jones, in lieu of flower donations can be made to the Hazard ARH Cancer Center.
