She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hamilton and Elizabeth Hamilton; her husband James Vanover; her children, Steve Vanover and Angela Vanover; and her sister Sylvia Smith.
She is survived by: her children, James Michael Vanover of Hazard, Pamela Fields (Joe), Mary Couch (Dean Hamilton) of Pound, VA, Shannon of Hazard, Kristine Kilburn (Rex), Edith (Larry Hamilton) of Hazard, Ena (Barry Hamilton) of Hazard and Donna (Coy Hamilton) of Hazard; her sisters, Betty Eversole of Big Creek, Barbara Baker and Terry of Big Creek; her grandchildren, Anthony, Okeya, Monica, Celeste, Kendra, Seth, Alexandra and Nicholas; and her great grandchildren, Lexi, Luke, Tristan of Christian, DJ, Othniel, Keturah, Zane, Aundrea, Avery, Aryah and Hadassah.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the BIG Creek Pentecostal Church (3313 Big Crk Rd, Hazard, KY 41701). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
