He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliott Combs and Ella Cornett Combs; and his siblings, Alta Mae Walker, Elliott "Red" Combs, Jr., Paskel "Pat" Combs and Lester Combs.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Combs of Hazard, KY; his sons, Allen Ray Combs of Hazard, KY and Sammy Ray Stacy of Hazard, KY; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie Stacy of Hazard, Ashley Davidson of Lexington, KY and Josh Combs of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home (301 E Main St, Hazard, KY 41701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
