He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Jones and Alpha Jones; his son Michael Combs Jones; and his siblings, Marvin Jones, Gaynell Fields, Costine Wilkerson and Eva Wilkerson.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Jones of Hazard; his stepson Kadin Burkhead of Hazard; his daughter Heather Jones of Hazard; and his brothers, Larry Jones and David Jones.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home (301 E Main St, Hazard, KY 41701). A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
