She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Barnett and Margaret Cope Barnett; her husband Herman Maggard; her brother Tommy Barnett; and her grandson Michael Casey Caudill.
She is survived by: her brothers, Owen Cope and Joe Taylor (Cathy); her sister-in-law Grace Bowles; her daughters, Martha Maggard Birdwhistell (Mark) and Alice Maggard Caudill (Mike); her grandchildren, Matthew Cope Birdwhistell (Shira), Carolyn Caudill Combs (Justin), Mary Alice Birdwhistell (Evan Jacoby) and Michelle Caudill Stein (John); her great grandchildren, Madison Combs, Tate Combs, Brennon Combs, Ally Combs, Lily Birdwhistell, Evan Birdwhistell, Grayson Combs, Ella Birdwhistell and Jay Stein; and her friend Glenn Gross.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home (1110 Barnes Mill Rd, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
